Accredo is an accredited specialty pharmacy. Specialty pharmacies serve patients with complex and chronic health conditions, like cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, or multiple sclerosis. Our pharmacists and nurses are trained in condition-specific disease states to help you manage your medication therapy or medical condition. Specialty medications are used to treat complex and long-term conditions, like multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, or hepatitis C. They often need to be handled or stored in special ways.
Accredo's turnaround time is based on the date we set with you or your doctor. Usually, it takes about five to seven days to get new medications. This allows two to three days for a patient care advocate to help you schedule your delivery.
Refills typically take 24 to 48 hours to get to you. Call Accredo if you need your medication delivered overseas.

We use specialized packaging and coolant packs to ship refrigerated medications. We also adjust our packaging for weather forecasts. This helps keep the medication in its approved temperature range.
